“Babboo’s Moving Pictures” is a series of animated paintings made for Exploded View Microcinema by Noah Saterstrom. While the paintings are static, each is embedded with a sequence of painted motions that were captured using a stop-animation application and edited as a short animation with sounds. The exhibition of paintings was accompanied by a large projection.
